Robert Owen- To some, Robert Owen was a visionary; to others he was a naïve idealist. He may have been a little bit of both. His philosophy, Owenism, sought to use utopian socialist ideals to create a society with no private property, no poverty, and no ignorance.

Louis Banc of France- Louis Banc wanted the government to encourage cooperatives and replace the capitalist enterprises. He suggested that people who produced the goods should form an association and the profit should be divided according to the work done. Karl Marx called the industrial society as the 'Capitalist' society.

Karl Max- Marx was a combination of the Promethean rebel and the rigorous intellectual. He gave most persons an impression of intellectual arrogance.
