Given-

Cuboidal box of sides

20cm , 30cm and 10cm

To find-

Maximum lenth of the rod that can be kept in a cuboidal box.

Solution-

We have to find the diagonal of this cuboidal box. And the formula is

 \sqrt{(l)^{2} + (b)^{2} +  ({h})^{2} }

 \sqrt{(20)^{2}+ ({30})^{2} + ({10})^{2}  } cm

 \sqrt{400 + 900 + 100} cm

 \sqrt{1400}

Some more formule for cuboid-

  • Surface area- \sf{2(lb+bh+hl)}
  • Lateral surface area- \sf{2(l+b)h}
  • Volume of cuboid- \sf{l×b×h}
