Given :

Radius of the circular path = 44 m.

As he travels from A to B , the covers half of the circular path.

We know that,

Circumference of a Semi - Circle = π*r.

→ Distance travelled by the person = 22/7 * 44

→ Distance travelled by the person = 138.28 m

→ Time taken to reach from A to B = 60 min

→ Speed of the Person = Distance/Time = 138.28/60

Speed of the Person = 2.30 m/min.

We know that,

If a body travels in a Semi - circular path with a radius "r" , then Displacement = 2*r.

→ Displacement covered by the person = 2(44) = 88 m.

→ Time taken = 60 min

→ Velocity of the person = Displacement/time = 88/60

Velocity of the person = 1.46 m/min.

Hence, the speed of the person is 2.30 m/min and Velocity of the person is 1.46 m/min.
