Acceleration(retardation)= -5m/sec^2 (since it is retardation so,it is negative)
Initial velocity(u)= ?
Now,We know that,
$a = \frac{v - u}{t} \\ - 5 = \frac{0 - u}{20} \\ - 5 \times 20 = - u \\ u = 100$
so,Initial velocity (u)=100 m/sec
