step by step explanation

Finding out the hcf is really easy. There are two ways

first factorise them like I have done in the second picture and compare. but u have to remember that each number has to have the same number as their factor. let's take eg

8- 2×2×2

4-2×2

HCF= 2×2=4

since there are two 2s in each they will be multiplied and the highest common multiple will be 4.

the other is the common method for finding HCF. which I have done in the first part.
