Solution:-If both the vectors are perpendicular to each other....then their dot product must be equal to 0

this is because as we know

dot product of two Vectors=A.Bcos∅

if ∅=90

then cos90=0

hence dot product=AB×0=0

so,

here

take out the dot product directly and equate it to 0

dot product=2×3+4×c

6+4c=0

4c=-6

2c=-3

Hnece 2c=-3

Answer:

2C= -3

Explanation:

  • v and a are perpendicular; hence
  • v . a = 0
  • (2i + cj) .(3i + 4j) =0
  • 6 + 4c = 0
  • c = -3/2
  • the value of 2c = -2 × -3/2
  • therefore 2c = -3
