if any vectoe is parallel to any other vector than the coefficient of the i,j,k are in the same ratio

so see here
2/-4 = -1/2
3/-6= -1/2

so -1/x = -1/2

so lemda must be 2

Two vector are parallel only if their Cross product is zero..
