Explanation:

First of all we find Resistance in parallel between the rhombus :--

1/Rp =1/R1 +1/R2 + 1/R3 +1/R4

= 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3 + 1/3

= 1+1+1+1/3

=4/3

=0.75ohm .

Now two resistance are present between this rhombus :--

Rs1 = R1 + R2 + R3

= 3 + 0.75 +3

=6.75ohm .

Now two resistance are between A & B . They are connected in series . Then we use formula of Rs :--

Rs2 = 3+3

=6ohm.

Now these two Rs1 & Rs2 are connected in parallel by using formula Req. :--

Req R = Rs1× Rs2 / Rs1+Rs2

= 6.75×6 / 6.75+6

= 40.5/12.75

=54/17

=3.184ohm.
