firstly we have to prove that both triangles i.e. PQS and QSR are congruent.

In PQS and QRS

PQ=QR

∠QSP=∠QSR

QS=QS

hence both triangles are congruent.

So by CPCT PS=SR=15

PR=30

area of PQR=1/2*base*height

=1/2*30cm*8cm

=(30*4)sq.cm

=120 sq.cm
