Distance between DEand BC = 3
As its right angled triangle
So DB is,distance between DE and BC DE //BC and DB is perpendicular to BC
So DB = 3
Area of quadrilateral DBCE = 1/2( DE +BC) DB
BC = 6
DE = 3/4. × 6 = 18/4 = 4.5
So Area = 1/2 ( 4.5 + 6)× 3
= 1/2 . 10.5 × 3
= 31.5/2 = 15.75
