For the particles A and B moves with constant velocities v1 and v2 such that two particles collide with each other the direction of relative  velocity of one with respect to other should be held towards the relative position of the other particles r1-r2/I r1-r2 I -> direction of relative position of 1 w.r.t 2

similarly, v2-v1/I v2-v1 I -> direction of velocity of 2 w.r.t 1  for collison of A and B the answer will be (2) r1-r2/I r1-r2 I = v2-v1/I v2-v1 I
