We know that, the line which is intersecting parallel lines is called a transversal line.

And, the sum of interior angles of transversal line is 180°.

In this figure,

It is given that one angle of its interior angle is 100°, and we have to find the other one i.e., x

So, we can easily find that,

Sum of interior angles of transversal line = 180°

100° + x = 180 °

x = 180° - 100°

x = 80°

 \implies Hence, the measure of angle x is 80°.
