a. 6^2m /6^-3 =6^5
6^2m *6^3 = 6^5
bases are equal powers should be added
6^2m+3 = 6^5
equating both sides
2m+3=5
2m=5-3
2m=2
m =1 is the answer

b. 9^-3m/9^-4 =9^7
9^-3m * 9^4 =9^7
9^-3m+4 =9^7
-3m+4 =7
-3m = 7-4
-3m =3
m = -1 is the answer

a). \sf{(6)^{2m} \div (6)^{-3} = (6)^5}

\sf{(6)^{2m} / (6)^{-3} = (6)^5}

\sf{(6)^{2m + 3} = (6)^5}

\sf{2m + 3 = 5}

\sf{2m = 2 }

\sf{m = 2/2 = 1}

b). \sf{(9)^{-3m} \div (9)^{-4} = (9)^7}

\sf{1/9^{3m} \div 1/9^4=(9)^7}

\sf{1/9^{3m} * 9^4 = 9^7}

\sf{9^{4 - 3m} = 9^7}

\sf{4 - 3m = 7 }

\sf{-3m = 7 - 4}

\sf{m = -1}
