Question :-

 \frac{1 +  \sqrt{2} }{3 - 2 \sqrt{2} }

What to do = rationalisation?

Solution :-

We know that :-

Rationalisation Factor is =

(3  + 2  \sqrt{2} )

Hence,

( \frac{1 +  \sqrt{2} }{3 - 2 \sqrt{2} } ) \times ( \frac{3 + 2 \sqrt{2} }{3 + 2 \sqrt{2} } )

Now solve this

( \frac{3 + 2 \sqrt{2} + 2 \sqrt{2}  + 2 \times 2 }{9 - 8} ) \\  \\  = (7 + 4 \sqrt{2} ) = 7 + 4 \times 1.414 \\  \\  = 12.65 \:  \:  \:  \: ans
