between 1 to 100

prime numbers are 2,3,5,7,11,13,17,19,23,29,31,37,41,43,47,53,59,61,67,71,73,79,83,89,97.

mean=sum of observations/no.of observations.

sum of prime numbers is 1060.

mean=1060/25.

mean =42.4.

7) The first 15 odd numbers are 1, 3, 5, 7, 9, 1, 13, 15, 17, 19, 21, 23, 25, 27 and 29

Here n = 15, which is odd.

Where, n is the number of the given number.

∴median = value of 1 / 2(\mathrm{n}+1)^{\mathrm{th}} observation.

= ½ (15 + 1)

= ½ (16)

= 16/2

= 8

Then, value of 8th term = 15

Hence, the median of first 15 odd numbers is 15.
