Answer:

hypotenuse=25

one side =x

second side= x+5

hypotenuse^2= side^2+side^2

25^2 = x^2 + (x+5)^2

625= x^2 +x^2+25+ 10x

625-25 = 2x^2+10x

600 = 2x^2+10x

2x^2+10x - 600=0

x^2+5x -300 =0

by factorising we get x= 15, -20

by taking x= 15

1st side = x = 15

second side= x+5= 15+5=20.
