Whales are considered to be one of ocean's most majestic creatures. There are many stories about them too.
Ibis was a popular humpback whale. and scientists were tracking her since 1979. In 1984 tragedy struck.Ibis got entangled in a huge fishing net. For two months she struggled with the fishing net. But after few months she was freed.
In 2007 in the Sacramento river in Calafornia a pair of humpback whales were spotted.
In 1991 a pure white humback whale was spotted near the Great Barrier Reef in Australia.
These whales were treated and freed. There are numerous such stories. Some come to be told, others do not.
