Answer:

In triangle ABC

AB= BC

Let AB = x

AC = root 8

By pythagoras theorem

AC^2 = AB^2 + BC^2

( root 8)^2 = x^2 + x^2

8 = 2x^2

8/2 = x^2

4= x^2

2 = x

AB = BC = 4

As

angle ABC + angle BAC + angle BCA = 180°

( sum of all angle property of triangle)

angle BAC + 90° + angle BAC= 180° ( opposite angle will equal if opposite sides are equal)

2angleBAC = 180° - 90°

angle BAC = 90° /2

angle BAC = 45°

AB= BC= ........... × AC

= ......... × root 8

= ......... × 2root 2

= root 2 × 2 root 2

= 4
