given ,

u = 10 m/s

t= 8 sec

s = (200-x) m

we know that the area of (a-t) graph gives change in velocity i.e V-U

area will be = 1/2 sum of parallel sides x height

= 1/2 x (4+8) x 4

= 1/2 x 12 x 4

= 24

therefore change in velocity is 24

V-U = 24

V - 10 =24

V = 34

We know that

v = u + at

34 = 10 + a 8

24 = 8a

a = 3 m /s^2

again  

s = ut + 1/2 at ^2

100-x = 10 x 8 + 1/2x 3 x 64

100 - x = 80 + 96

100- x = 176

x = - 76m

therefore s = 100 - (-76)

= 176m
