HEY MATE!!!!

a) At point B...Two changes happen
1) Ray of light deflects towards the normal as refraction happens
2) Velocity of light decreases as the Ray of light passed through glass fibre which is a denser medium than air.

b) At point P the ray of light get reflected at the same angle that it makes with the normal...So the reason is reflection

HOPE THIS ALL HELPS YOU....

Heya Mate !!!

Here's Your Answer :-

(i) There are two changes happening at the point "B" are they are :-

(a) Ray of light is deflecting towards the normal as refraction taking place.
(b) Velocity of light is decreasing as the ray of light is passing through glass fibre which is denser medium than air here.

(ii) Ray of light is being reflected with the same angle which it is making with the normal ray.
Generally , it shows reflection as this one reason.
