Let the units digit be y and tens digit is x.
Then the number can be represented as 10x +y.
Given, x + 7 = y (1)
And, x+y=1/9(10x+y) (2)
From (1) and (2),
y+y+7=1/9[10(y+7)+y]
or, 2y+7=1/9(11y+70)
or, 18y+63=11y+70
or, 7y=7
or, y=1
or, x=1+7=8.
∴ The number is 81.
Then the number can be represented as 10x +y.
Given, x + 7 = y (1)
And, x+y=1/9(10x+y) (2)
From (1) and (2),
y+y+7=1/9[10(y+7)+y]
or, 2y+7=1/9(11y+70)
or, 18y+63=11y+70
or, 7y=7
or, y=1
or, x=1+7=8.
∴ The number is 81.
