Answer:

When we subtract the sum of 2x²y-3xy+5 and 5xy+10x²y from the sum of 7xy+8 and 3x²y-8xy-2, we get -9x²y-3xy+1.

Step-by-step explanation:

Sum of 2x²y-3xy+5 and 5xy+10x²y is

                 = 2x²y+10x²y-3xy+5xy+5

                 =12x²y+2xy+5------->eqn1

Sum of 7xy+8 and 3x²y-8xy-2 is

                 =3x²y+7xy-8xy+8-2

                 =3x²y-xy+6---------->eqn2

Given that we should subtract eqn1 from eqn2

i.e.,

(3x²y-xy+6)-(12x²y+2xy+5)=3x²y-xy+6-12x²y-2xy-5

                                          =3x²y-12x²y-xy-2xy+6-5

                                          = -9x²y-3xy+1
