Explanation:

We are given that five resistance each of 10 ohm are connected in circuit .

We have to resultant resistance between A and B.

Two resistance are connected in series because current flowing through these two resistance are same.

Therefore, resultant resistance of two resistance in series=R_1+R_2=10+10=20 ohm

Two resistance out of 3 resistance are connected in series

Therefore, resultant resistance=10+10=20 ohm

20 ohm , 20 ohm and 10 ohm are connected in parallel because current flowing these resistance are different

\frac{1}{R}=\frac{1}{R_1}+\frac{1}{R_2}+\frac{1}{R_3}

=\frac{1}{R}=\frac{1}{20}+\frac{1}{20}+\frac{1}{0}=\frac{1+1+2}{20}=\frac{4}{20}

R=\frac{20}{4}=5 ohm

Hence, the resultant resistant between A and B=R=5 ohm
