Material required- raisins ,pure water and salt.

Procedure

Put the raisins in the pure water and leave them for sometime

Put the raisins and salt solution for 2 to 3 hours and observe them carefully.

Observation

The raisins in both the solution will be swelling up while it will absorb both of the solutions

Conclusion

As the skin of the raisins are semipermeable the water is allowed to enter in resulting the raisins to swell up.
