Step-by-step explanation:

 \huge \mathfrak{hola \: mate} \:

a cos³x + b sin³x = sinx.cosx. (given)

a cosx (cos²x)+bsin³x=sinxcosx

bsinx (cos²x)+bsin³x=sinx.cosx (as acos x = bsin x)

bsinx(cos²x+sin²x)=sinx.cosx

bsinx(1)=sinx.cosx

cosx=b (put in given equation)

a cosx= b sin x

ab=b sinx

so sinx=a

so a²+b²=sin²x+cos²x=1

 \mathsf{thanks}
