Explanation:

a) blue-black area of leaf shows the presence of starch.

b) we would conclude from the above experiment that without the presence of chlorophyl we can't do photosynthesis as the plant will not get sunlight and thus the part of leaf which was covered with black paper did not get chlorophyl and does not turn blue-black. So, the presence of chlorophyll is important.

c) Word equation for photosynthesis:–

Co2 + water(H2O) = sunlight ( chlorophyll)+ Oxygen (O2)
