PQR is isosceles with altitude QS. Find the length of the altitude if the side lenghts are 20, 20, and 8.

QRS is right angled triangle

Hence by formula

1/2×base×height we have

1/2× 20×8 = 80 cm

Hence the height of altitude is 80m
