Lets see this with the help of a diagram. The given parallelogram is PQRS.
Now there are 2 triangles one is PQR and the other is RSP.
1. Angle QPR = angle PRS (in a parallelogram opposite sides are parallel and line PR is the transversal so both the above mentioned angles are alteranate)
2. Angle QRP= angle RPS (reason is same as above)
3. PR = RP ( common line)
thus triangle pqr and triangle rsp are congruent.
