Solution:

When Arpitha lined up the interior angle of triangle, it is clear that :

\mathbf{ \angle B = 22^{\circ}}    (From figure of straight line)

\mathbf{ \angle C = 99^{\circ}}    (Given)

From triangle angle property in ΔABC :

∠A +∠B +∠C = 180°

On putting respective value in above equation:

∠A + 22° + 99° = 180°

⇒∠A + 121° = 180°

⇒∠A  = 180° - 121°

∴ ∠A  = 59°

So angle of ∠A  is 59°. Means option second is correct.
