Question ;
If n(A) = 300, n(AUB) = 500, n(AB) = 50 and n(B') = 350, find n(B) and n(U).
give correct answer

Answer:

n(aub)=n(a)+n(b)-n(anb)

500=300+n(b)-50

500-250=n(b)

250=n(b)

n(u)=n(b')+n(b)

n(u)=350+250=600

Yes I was also wondering that

...n is actually a sign used for intersection of sets ...now this is correct answer ..
