B°=ACB°= x [angles of an isosceles triangle]

AB=AD [ Given]

but,

AB=AC

=> AD=AC

=> ACD°=D°= y [ angles of isosceles triangle]

In triangle BCD

= B + C + D = 180° [ Angle Sum Property]

=> x + (x+y) + y =180° {C°= ACD°+ACB°= x+y}

2(x+y) = 180

x+y=90°

HENCE, BCD IS A RIGHT ANGLED TRIANGLE
