Given :

  • Volume of cuboid = 720 cm³
  • Width of cuboid = 8 cm
  • Length of cuboid = 15 cm

To find :

  • Height of cuboid

Formula used :

V = l × w × h

Here,

  • V = volume of cuboid
  • l = length of cuboid
  • w = width of cuboid
  • h = height of cuboid

Solution :

Put all values in above formula ( V = lwh )

➝ 720 cm³ = 15 cm × 8 cm × h

➩ 720 cm³ = 120 cm² × h

➩ h = ( 720 cm³) ÷ (120 cm²)

➩ h = (720/120) (cm³/cm²)

➩ h = 6 cm

ANSWER : 6 cm

Answer:

  • The volume of the cuboid is 6cm

Step-by-step explanation:

Given that:

  • The volume of the cuboid is 720cm³
  • The width of the cuboid is 8cm
  • The Length of the cuboid is 15cm

To Find:

  • The height of the cuboid

Formula Used:

{\bigstar \; {\underline{\boxed{\bf{ Volume = L \times B \times H }}}}}

Required Solution:

  • Using Formula To find volume

{\pmb{\dashrightarrow{\sf{ Voloume \; of \; cuboid = L \times B \times H }}}}

\red{\bigstar}  Where,

  • L Stands for Length
  • B stands for Breadth
  • H stands for Height

\red{\bigstar} Substituting the values,

  • Volume = Length × Breadth × Height
  • 720 = 15 × 8 × height
  • 720 = 120 × height
  • Height = 720 / 120
  • Height = 6 cm

Therefore:

  • The Height of the cuboid is 6cm
