Step-by-step explanation:

(i)

Given Equation : 3x - 5y = -1

Here, a₁ = 3, b₁ = -5, c₁ = 1

(ii)

Given Equation : 2x - y = -3

Here, a₂ = 2, b₂ = -1, c₂ = 3

Now,

∴ (a₁/a₂) = (b₁/b₂)

⇒ (3/2) = (5)

(a₁/a₂) ≠ (b₁/b₂)

∴ Given system has unique solution.

Hope it helps!

Hello dear!

————-

Your explanation is here!

Thanks for asking the hw question!

————-

Since according to class 9/10 ncert we follow the simple step and that is.

a1/a2=b1/b2 for multiple solution of any equation!

So,

Firstly talking equation one!

3x-5y=-1

a1=3

b1=-5

And in equation second.

a2=2

b2= -1

Thus checking the condition.

We will get..

a1/a2=b1/b2

=>3/2=-5/-1

But is this true?

No dear it is impossible

So the condition is not satisfied

Hence it has UNIQUE SOLUTION.

Thanks.
