1. The car moves with a constant speed from 0 to A. Then it accelerates from A to B. After that, it stops moving from B to C. This is the nature of motion of car from A to B.

2. According to the graph, distance covered by Car at time 3s is 20m.

Now,

Distance = 20m

Time = 3s

Speed = Distance / Time

or, Speed = 20/3 = 6.6 m/s

3. The Tortoise and hare story taught us that slow and steady wins the race . This applies here too.

We see in the graph that ,

the red particle moves with a steady pace , where as the blue particle accelerates at first and then stops but then accelerates again. Hence , we see that Slow and steady wins the race .
