let the velocity of the larger block after collision be V1

after collision the block and bullet will move in the same direction

firstly make initial and final momentum equal

initial momentum=mu+0

final momentum=mv+mnV1

making both eqaual we get

mu+0=mv+mnV1

mu=m(v+nV1)

(u-v)/n=V1

after collision both block and bullet will move in the same direction,so

relative velocity of bullst=v-v1

putting the value of v1=(u-v)/n we get

relative velocity of bullet=(vn-u+v)/n

so relative velocity={(n+1)v-u}/n

{hope it helps}

keep asking ur doubts
