1-something that has mass and occupies space and offers resistance is called matter.on basis of intermolecular force of attraction matter can be classified into three types, solids, liquids and gases

2-sodium chloride dissolved in water can be reobtained by evaporation butwhen sodium chloride react with sulphuric acid chemical change happens and it cannot be reversed, so it is a chemical change.

3-number of atoms present in a molecule of an element is called its atomicity. for example molecule of oxygen contains two atom so it's atomicity is two. according to atomicity there are monovalent ,divalent, tetravalent and polyvalent elements.

1) Matter can be classified according to physical and chemical properties. Matter is anything that occupies space and has mass. The three states of matter are solid, liquid, and gas. A physical change involves the conversion of a substance from one state of matter to another, without changing its chemical composition.

2)Addition of sodium chloride to water is considered as a physical change because it does not form any new substance.but when addition of dilute sulphuric acid is added to sodium chloride They forms sodium sulphate hence it is considered as a chemical change

3)The number of atoms present in one molecule of an element or compound is called its atomicity. For example: The atomicity of NH3 is 4. Since it contains 1 atom of nitrogen and 3 atoms of hydrogen

5) Molar mass of NH4OH = 35.0458 g/mol

6) a) KHCO3

b)Fe2S3

7) a) Aluminum phosphate

b) Calcium nitride
