  • Length of garden=90 m
  • Breadth of garden=75 m
  • Path is 5 m wide...

therefore, area of garden= l × b

=(90×75)m=6750 m.sq.

outer length of garden including path:

=(90+5+5)m=100 m

Outer breadth of garden including path:

=(75+5+5)m=85 m

Therefore, area of garden including path:

=(100×85)m=8500m.sq.

To find the area of path:

Area of path=Area of garden includng path-Area of garden

=(8500-6570)=1750 m square....

1 hectare=10000 m square

Therefore, area of garden in hectare

 \frac{6750}{10000}  \\  = 0.675 \: h
