radius=6√2

∴OA=OB=OQ=6√2

OQ²=OP²+PQ²           [By Pythagoras Theorem]

⇒(62)²=2OP²              [∵OPQR is a square, ∴OP=PQ]

⇒OP²=36

⇒OP=6

Area of quadrant= \frac{\pi  }{4}×(6√2)²

                            =18\pi

Area of square=OP²=36

∴Area of shaded region=18\pi-36 cm
