To find the area we have to Calculate the area of the Rectangle and 2 Trapeziums in the figure.
First, let's find the area of the rectangle,
Area of Rectangle = L × B
= 11 × 5
= 55m.Sq
Ok, Now let us find the Area of the 2 Trapezium,
Area of Trapezium = a + b/ 2 (h)
= 11 + 5/2 (4)
= 16/2 (4)
= 32 × 2
= 64m.Sq
Now, The Area of the Octagon = 55 + 64
= 119m.Sq
