Answer:

L=90,B=60

Step-by-step explanation:

let,L=2B-30. (equ.1)

perimeter=420

[ P=2(L+B) ]

2(L+B)=420

2[(2B-30)+B]=420. (from equ.1)

2(3B-30)=420

6B-60=420

B=60. (put in equ.1)

L=90

Let the breadth be x

Length = 2x - 30

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b) = 420m

2(2x-30+x) = 420m

2(3x-30) = 420m

6x - 60 = 420m

6x = 420 + 60 = 480

6x = 480

x =480/6

x = 80

Breadth = x = 80

Length = 2x - 30 = 2×80-30 = 160-30 = 130m

CHECKING

Perimeter of rectangle = 2(l+b)

Here, l = 130 & b = 80

Putting the values,

2(80+130) = 2×210 = 420m

Hence the answer is correct. :)

hope it helps

thank you ❤️
