Answer:

first of all find the % of all students

then do this

(% of 1st student)

_______________. X 360

1 0 0

similarly do the second ,third , fourth

then you will receive some values for each student now simply construct these angles and name them respectively .

if this somehow satisfy your ques , make sure to leave a thanks

Step-by-step explanation:

Given :-

Four students contested for the school leadership.The total strength of the school is 720.

The given table shows the number of votes secured by the each student.

To find :-

Construct a pie-chart for the above data .

Solution :-

Given that

Number of students participated for the leadership = 4

Total strength of the school = 720

Number of Votes secured by Gurdeep = 200

Number of Votes secured by Yusuf = 240

Number of votes secured by Hamesh = 120

Number of votes secured by Hari Shankar = 160

We know that

The total angle in a circle = 360°

Angle for the votes of Gurdeep

= (Votes secured/Total votes) × 360°

=> (200/720)×360°

=> (200×360°)/720

=> 72000°/720

=>100°

Angle for the votes of Yusuf

= (Votes secured/Total votes) × 360°

=> (240/720)×360°

=> (240×360°)/720

=> 240/2

=> 120°

angle for the votes of Hamesh

= (Votes secured/Total votes) × 360°

=> (120/720)×360°

=> 120/2

=> 60°

angle for the votes of Hari Shankar

= (Votes secured/Total votes) × 360°

=> (160/720)×360°

=> 160/2

=> 80°

Now

On taking these angles for constructing the pie chart.

See the above attachment.

Steps:-

→ Draw a circle with taking some radius .

→ Mark the centre as O.

→ Draw a horizontal line as the radius .

→ Construct the above angles 100° , 120°, 60° and 80° using with the help of protractor.

Points to know:-

→ In a pie chart the total angle of all parts is 360°.

→ sectors are there in a pie chart .
