Solution :-
- First of all, the figure ABCD is a parallelogram
- One of the property of parallelogram is that, the adjacent angles are supplementary. We can make use of that property here
- ∠A and ∠D are adjacent. So, they are supplementary.
⇒ ∠A + ∠D = 180°
⇒ x - 7 + 2x - 7 = 180°
⇒ 3x - 14 = 180°
⇒ 3x = 194
⇒ x =
- Now, ∠D = 2x - 7 = 2() - 7 = = 122.33°
- ∠A = 180° - ∠D = 180° - 122.33° = 57.77°
