6) In parallel connection the resultant resistance will be less than either of the individual resistance.

7) The possible values of resultant resistance is,

=> In parallel connection;

=> R = 2×6/(2+6)

=> 12/8.

=> 1.5ohms

In series connection,

R = 2+6

=> 8ohms

So, The possible values for the resultant resistance is 1.5ohms & 8ohms.
