Answer:

8b^2-18b+9 = 0

Here a=8, b= -18 and c=9

a x c = 8 x 9 = 72

now find the factors of  72

the factors of 72 are 2 x 2 x 2 x 3 x 3

arrange them by trial method   2 x 3 and 2 x 2 x 3

i.e. 6 and 12.

when we add 6 and 12 we get 18.

but we need -18

therefore, we shall take -6 and -12 so that the their sum ma be -18

i.e. -12 + (-6) = -18 which is b.

It is proceeded below:

8b^2-12b-6b+9 = 0

4b(2b-3)-3(2b-3)=0

(4b-3) ( 2b-3)

I hope this solution helped you.
