Ans:- Given:-

p(x) = x³+x²-2x+1

q(x) = x - 3

To find, Remainder

Solution:-

=> x - 3 = 0

=> x = 3

By remainder theorem when p(x) is divided by (x - a) then remainder is p(a).

=> p(3) = (3)³+(3)²-2(3)+1

=> p(3) = 27 + 9 - 6 + 1

=> p(3) = 31

So by remainder theorem 31 is the remainder when (x³+x²-2x+1) is divided by (x - 3).

here is your answer

hope it will help you
