Side of the square Park = 100m

Therefore, As we know formula for area of square is = (side)²

Therefore, Area = 100² m² = 10000m²

Now , the flower bed which is in form of quadrants is at 4 corners of the park.

Radius of 1 quadrant = 14m

As, we know that a quadrant is 1/4 of a circle , So the area of the quadrant will also be 1/4 area of circle.

So, formula for quadrant of circle = 1/4(πr²)

Area of quadrant

= 1/4((22/7)×14×14)

= 1/4(22×2×14)

= 11×14

= 154 m²

Area of 1 quadrant is 154m² so area of 4 quadrants = 4×154m² = 616m²

So, Area of remaining park =

Total area of park - Area of 4 quadrants

So, area of remaining park →

(10000-616) m²

= 9384 m²

Answer) Area of remaining park is 9384 m².

Hey there !!

Total Area of the square park =a²=100²=10000m²
Now from each corner quadrants of radius 14m are used for a flower bed so these four quadrants when combined together form a circle of radius 14m so area occupied by flower bed=πr²=π14²=196*π=615.75m²

So remaining area=Total area- Area occupied by flower beds
                             =10000-615.75=9384.25m²
