Given, Age of Ravina = 24 years.
Years ago:
= > Age of Aleeka = (12 - x).
= > Age of Ravina = (24 - x).
Now,
Given that Ravina is three times as old as Aleeka.
= > 3(12 - x) = 24 - x
= > 36 - 3x = 24 - x
= > 12 = 2x
= > x = 6.
Therefore, raveena was 3 times as old as aleeka 6 years ago.
