Given,
There are 2 triangles given within a triangle i.e. ∆PQS and ∆PRS.
angle Q = 60°
angle R = 40°
angle QPS = 55°
• Sum of all angles of a triangle is equal to 180°
So,
In ∆PQS
angle PQS + angle QPS + angle QSP = 180°
60° + 55° + angle QSP = 180°
angle QSP = 180° - 115°
angle QSP = 65°
i.e. a = 65°
QS is a linear pair
So,
a + b = 180°
65° + b = 180°
b = 180° - 65°
b = 115°
In ∆PRS,
angle PRS + b + c = 180°
40° + 115° + c = 180°
c = 180° - 155°
c = 25°
Hope it helps! ;)
