By the angle sum propertiy of a triangle...
A+B+C=180°
→A+B=180°-C →(1)

Substituting (1) in the given equation

Tan [ (A+B)/2]=
=Tan [(180°-C)/2]
=Tan [ (180/2) -C/2]
=Tan[90°- (C/2)] [ tan (90-a)=cot(a)]
=Cot[C/2]

Hope it Helps...

As we know

A +B +C =180

Then

tan(A+B/2) = tan (180-C/2) = tan(90-[C/2])

= cot C/2

hope you understand

Thank You
