let speed=x and time=t
then t=x/2
now use the formula distance= speed× time
2592= x^2/2
from here x= 72
so t will be 36 hours

Anu2321: what is this??
dk361646: now see again
dk361646: does it help now
Anu2321: hm
Anu2321: thx

Given distance=2592km
 let time taken be x
  then speed=distance/time
                    =2592/x
given x=one half of speed
           x =3/2*2592/x
         x^2=3/2*2592
         x^2=3*1296
           x=3888
           x=62.35hr
